Home Meet & Soldier Hollow Friday

Thank you to all Parents, Athletes, Managers, and my wife for a successful home meet! It was a hot day and our full 5K (3.1) mile course was perfect. Both our boys and girls teams came away with dominating 1st place victories without Logan and Bear River's Varsity runners... Super Proud of you all!!!

Murray RESULTS!

Although the course was VERY different from a couple years ago... the race was a success for us as a team. Much longer than before at over 3.1 miles and a "fun" hill to finish up the course. Besides an allergy to Cotton, things went smoothly and we didn't require any restarts!

This week has been a headache for me for the last couple weeks. When we got our schedules at the first of the season I was told that this Wednesday the 16th would be a region race and that we would get put into one of the County races that are around us probably the Weber County one. But I got final word yesterday that they are NOT allowing us to run in their race.. I don't need to vent my frustration so in changing my plans and with our Region race coming up the next week we will be running our home course at Round Valley on Wednesday. It will be a great chance for us to practice and know our course so in the end it may benefit us since we are limited on the course. So plan on Wednesday being prepared to race!

we will get there early enough to watch the college racesand all races will follow

call junior and senior boys along with top seven varsity boys will run in the open races at 4:45 and 5 o'clock

the open races for the girls will be at 5:30 and 5:45 p.m.

the boys freshman sophomore ace will b at 620 and the girls freshman sophomore race will b at 635 pm.

Proud of the team today! When we ran that course last year it was almost 100 degrees and we struggled on the hills... but our hill and heat training has paid off and I saw GREAT times and many prs on a tough region course. We can do hard things!

I got an email from our AD stating that the times for this race have changed. I apologize I wish I would have known. It is earlier now with the first race starting at 11AM. The bus will leave Morgan at 9AM and the dirt spot at 9:10AM. Also, if any of you haven't or don't tell Tyler Payne that you are running Friday at Murray I need to know by tonight! I have to have all entries in by Midnight or you don't run!!

Aggie Invitational RESULTS!

We had a great day at USU on their 3.2 Mile packed trail and grass course. We had a scare with heat exhaustion and dehydration but things turned out ok in the end. We got to see our new Region teams and will get to see them again this WED as we head to our Super Pre Regional in SLC!
